Hot Cocoats

What you'll need:

  • 1 packet plain Quaker Instant Oatmeal (100)

  • 1 tbsp baking cocoa (10)

  • 1 packet sweetener (0)

  • Sprinkle of cinnamon (5)

  • Pinch of salt (0)

  • 2 tbsp rolled oats, soaked in water overnight* (38)

  • 1/2 cup cashew milk (13)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (12)

  • Optional: 2 tbsp "mallow bits" (20)


Mix the dry ingredients together, then add the soaked oats (if you have them).


Add the cashew milk 1/4 cup at a time and mix constantly until the cocoa is wet. It may take awhile- be patient!


Add everything else except the marshmallows, mix to combine, and refrigerate overnight. In the morning, microwave covered for 2 minutes (or until you reach your desired consistency) on 1-min intervals stirring in between.


Add the marshmallows after cooking (brings the calorie count up to 198, but it's worth it for that hot cocoa authenticity) and enjoy!
