Hi! I'm Ashley, and I would love to share my story with you. I'm 22 years old, and over the years I have been carefree and just living life to the fullest. However, when times got hard or I was stressed, I turned to food to comfort myself. I didn't realize what I was doing until one day I saw a picture of myself that a friend had taken, and I was horrified. I stepped on the scale, and couldn't believe the number I saw. This was the day that everything changed. I realized I had to start paying attention to what I was putting into my body, and I became super into eating clean, healthy meals and looking for the healthy alternatives wherever I could. A year later and 50 pounds lighter, this is where I dump all of the healthy recipes that I try out. Some of the recipes are ones that I myself created, and others are just recipes that I have found by searching the internet. I try to give credit where credit is due, so if there's a recipe that you see that I don't have a source on, or if you see your own, please call me out on it! I like to use this blog as my online cookbook, and I wanted to share some of those recipes with people like me that may be struggling with weight, and want to eat all around healthier foods. Losing weight is definitely a journey, and it feels good to be able to share recipes with people that can help them reach their goals!
